Raise your hand if you are soooo sick of winter! That's what I thought! These days we have been having to get creative to keep our selves busy. . . The laundry basket is the new "it" toy.
Making my favorite childhood treat Frosted Graham Crackers has kept us busy for awhile and satiated our sweet tooth. It's really easy just make your favorite frosting ( butter cream, cream cheese, etc.) and frost between two graham cracker squares making a "sandwhich." I recommend putting them in the fridge for awhile to harden the frosting up a little. My personal favorite is chocolate butter cream- it tastes a little like smores without the marshmellow.
We have taken several trips to Target which just results in me buying something I didn't really need! So, I'm running out of ideas. What do you do to keep yourself and your kids entertained on those cold, snowy, boring winter days? Well, for now we will have to make do, but until spring
comes I will be dreaming of this . . .

I am with you all the way. Bailey would just sit and watch "Baby Signing Time" all day long if I let her. We need to find more things to do so we don't go crazy!
I got a pass to the Discovery Children’s museum at the Gate Way but Julia always gets sick after we go there, hard to believe she could catch something when there are hundreds of kids running around with runny noses!
Lindsay,
I saw your blog for the first time! I loved looking at it. (I got it off the wx reunion website) You have the cutest family! I am glad you are all doing so well. I live in Kaysville, we will have to meet at castle park on nichols road and let the kids play when the weather warms up.

Dear Lindsay,
I had to say Hi! I saw your blog link, on Heathers page. I am so glad to see pictures of your cute little guy. I heard from my mom that you had a new little one! What a beautiful family! And I am with you,I was ready for spring a few weeks ago. I can't even watch the weather reports! And I feel like we shouldn't go anywhere becasue everyone is sick! What to do?! My neighbor said she saw tulip bulbs poking out where her snow had melted. I am not sure I can believe it. You will have to look at our family blog. It isn't very cute, I am needing to work on it. But, these blogs are a fun way to keep in touch with friends! Kelly (Martin) Patterson
I was making frosted graham crackers with my kids this week too.. The funny thing is whenever I make them it reminds me of eating them at your house when we were little. I remember the first time I had white frosting at your house (instead of the usual chocolate) and I thought your mom was so fancy!
Cute pictures!

Hi lindsey,
It was so great to have heard from you again. I am so sorry it has taken me awhile to respond back. We are getting kaden ready for preschool and I am working at the office a lot right now. But I would love to come and see you and kel, when is good for you?
That is a great snack idea. Since being pregnant all I crave is sugar. Not good!
Come visit Vegas ... it was 75 degrees today!
Hey, totally off the subject of your post, but where in Fruit Heights do you live? Derek and I have looked at lots there for if and when we move back to Utah. Feel free to email me so you don't reveal your whereabouts to the world!
